Apple's iPhone 11 - Latest News & Leaks! (iPhone XI)

This is Everything we know about iPhone 11. It's been months since iPhone 11 leaks started spreading with more and more details and there are a lot of leaks & rumors now. I am gonna cover some of the most important and controversial leaks of the upcoming flagship smartphone from Apple. I will be covering it in points so let's start:

1. In 2019, Apple will release 3 iPhones. They will be iPhone 11, iPhone 11S/iPhone 11 Max & iPhone XR2/11R. According to most of the leaks from the most trusted sites these are the iPhone 11 variants that will release. iPhone 11's size will be identical to iPhone XS and iPhone X, iPhone 11 Max size will be identical to iPhone XS Max & iPhone 11R with iPhone XR. The most premium and highest smartphone variant will be the bigger one which is iPhone 11 Max and the cheapest will be iPhone 11R.



2. iPhone 11 & iPhone 11 Max will feature a new camera design with a square camera bump supporting 3 different camera lenses. This is to upgrade the iPhone 11's camera with triple lens and offer better photography and recording with the phone. Apple is joining the other smartphone companies in the camera game by upgrading iPhone's camera. We can expect the new iPhones to show some really amazing photography with better options and also in video recording. For the front facing camera, Apple will be upgrading the front camera lens from 7 megapixels to 12 megapixels according to various sources. Oh and note that, iPhone 11R will feature two camera lenses instead of one in iPhone XR but it will have a square camera bump too. The new camera upgrade will be a game changer for iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Max & iPhone 11R.



3. Talking about the Display, we will see the same Apple's OLED display from the iPhone XS Max & iPhone XS on the new iPhone which is 6.5-inch Super Retina OLED; 2,688x1,242 pixels (For the iPhone 11 Max) and 5.8-inch; 2,436x1,125 pixels (For the iPhone 11). Apple may again, for the iPhone XR keep the LCD screen offering no upgrade to OLED according to many sources because it will be the cheapest iPhone 11 variant and well because it's Apple.


4. Apple will finally ditch the support of 3D touch feature on the new coming iPhones. This was covered in leaks weeks ago by various sources. Instead of providing 3D touch, Apple will use the iPhone XR style non-pressure sensitive touch using the Haptic Engine of iPhone. For many Apple users this is no big deal because they don't use 3D touch in their day to day lives and are okay with it being removed. For those who do, this may be concerning.



5. Talking about the overall smartphone design, the 2019 iPhones will keep the same front design as that of iPhone X & XS series with a notch. We may expect slightly thinner bezels around the corners and sides. But on the back side, there will be a major change, because of the triple camera lenses and a square camera bump the new iPhones will look different from the back and many people aren't happy with this design. This will distinguish iPhone 11 variants than every other previous iPhone.

6. The new iPhones are expected to feature Apple's all new A13 processor which will be much faster than the A12 processor. The A13 processor is reportedly built on 7nm+ process. We will experience faster speeds with less battery consumption and power. It will also improve the AI & AR (Augmented Reality). It will show better and faster gaming experience too. It will also get better with the new iOS 13.

7. There will be a Bluetooth upgrade too which will allow users to listen to Bluetooth connected devices, not only one but two at the same time. Many Android flagships already support the Dual Bluetooth Audio feature.



8. The iPhone 11 will also support a new kind of wireless charging called bilateral wireless charging. This will allow users to charge other smartphones, Airpods and smart-watches by simply placing it at the back of iPhone 11. Also known as Power Sharing. This is pretty useful, especially in emergency cases when one of your devices is at low battery and you want to quickly charge it by using your own smartphone, like charging Apple Watch or AirPods 2. The size of the battery will also increase, 20 to 25 percent for the iPhone 11 and 10 to 15 percent for iPhone 11 Max.

9. Also Apple will finally move on with the 5W USB-A charging block to 18W charging block and supporting USB-C instead of Lightning cable. This will allow iPhone to charge way faster than ever before like other new android smartphones.

10. Talking about the 5G version of iPhone 11, unfortunately this will not happen with the 2019 iPhones. We can expect that next year!

11. Instead of iPhone 11, iPhone 11 & iPhone 11R, Apple may officially call it's new smartphones iPhone XI, iPhone XI Max & iPhone XR2 using the Roman numerals styling.

In other leaks news, Apple will introduce two new colors for the iPhone 11R which are Green and Lavender. Apple will ditch Coral and Blue colors according to the recent leaks. There will be a (PRODUCT) RED version too.


Talking about the release, we can expect Apple to reveal their new iPhone 11, iPhone 11R & iPhone 11 Max in September of 2019. Let's hope for the best. It's gonna be pretty exciting!
