Google Pixel 4 Coming Soon - Here's what you need to know!

Google's very own smartphone lineup Pixel has it's 4th smartphone launching this October 15th. They are Google Pixel 4 and Google Pixel 4 XL. We have seen alot of smartphone launching this half of 2019 with iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, iPhone 11 Pro Max, Oneplus 7T etc. These new Pixel smartphones are successor to Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL. However they didn't really sell well even after having really amazing specs and the camera and also were quite expensive so we have lots of expectations from Google with Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL.



There have been alot of leaks on these upcoming smartphones, most popular is that Google is going to put the square camera bump just like Apple did with iPhone 11 smartphones lineup. Many people aren't really happy with Google doing this but it's definitely confirmed that they will have really amazing cameras.

There was a recent leak telling that Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will be able to invoke Google Assistant just by raising their phones. They will also have an updated version of Google Assistant with all new design.

Another source says that (9to5Google) Pixel 4's camera will have daytime, nighttime, portrait photos and a new "Galaxy Mode". Daytime will let you take really amazing photos at day, nighttime for night and portrait mode will be much better than ever before. Also the Galaxy mode will capture as much stars as it can, even showing the Milky Way galaxy.



It's also been leaked that Google will have 3D face-unlocking feature like the Apple's iPhone X and it's successors. Pixel 4 will be about 5.7 inches and Pixel 4 XL will be 6.3 inches in display with dual cameras on the back. Cameras will feature one 12 megapixel DualPixel Autofocus camera and a 16MP Telephoto camera. Obviously the smartphones will run on Qualcomm's Snapdragon 855 processor which is the best and fastest android processor as of now.



Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL reportedly will also come in 4 colors, they are Jet Black, Clearly White, Orange and a Panda color model. The overall design of the smartphone looks better than Pixel 3 and Pixel 3 XL but still alot of people may not like the thick bezel at the top.

About the battery that we are getting, it's quite disappointing. Pixel 4 will have 2800 mAh battery while the Pixel 4 XL will have 3700 mAh battery. According to leaks these smartphones will have 90Hz OLED display which will be battery consuming. Let's see how Google manages this.

Apart from this these smartphones will have 6gb of RAM, Stereo Speakers, USB-C fast charging, Android OS with 3 years of security and OS update. The Face unlock feature will be really really fast. It will have those hand gesture feature where you will be able to use your smartphone without actually touching it, just by using hand gestures and waving.
